Number of employee in I.T department = 20000 x 14% = 2800
Employee in the age group of 25 – 30 year = 2800 x 20% = 560
Number of employees in H.R department = 20000 x 20% = 4000

H.R department,
12% = 600
10% = 500
100% = 5000
For IT department,
20%  =  400
100%  =  2000
Required ratio = 5000 : 2000
= 5 : 2

In HR department = 12 % = 600
40 %  =  2000

20%  = 5000
So,
For operation,
16% = 100% = 4000
55% = 55 x 40 = 2200
Required average  =  2200 + 2000 = 4200/ 4 = 1050

Total number of employee = 100% =  25000
From question, total number of employee =  20000
Required difference =  25000 – 20000 = 5000 more

Number of student in each year =  1800/4 = 450
Student pass with grace =  450 x 22%  = 198 = Number of student who passed third division in iit madras
Remaining student in iit Madras =  500 – 198 = 302
Total number of student in iit Bombay = 1000
Required percentage =  30.2 %

Total number of pass student in PWG in iit Gandhi nagar = 450 x 8% = 36
Student who pass in first  = 36 x 0.50 = 18
Student pass in first division = 450 x 0.40% = 180 + 18
Percentage increase = (18 x 100)/ 180 = 10%
