Q.6:- Let x be the least 4 digit number which when divided by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 leaves 1 as remainder in each case. What is the sum of digits of x if x lies between 3200 and 3500?

Q.7:- The average of n numbers are x. if 75% of the number is increased by 4 and remaining number is decreased by 8, the resultant average became 43. What is the value of x.?

Q.9:- what is the area of rectangle?
आयत का क्षेत्रफल क्या होगा?

I. Measurement of one diagonal of rectangle is given./आयत का एक विकर्ण ज्ञात  है

Q.10:- what is the area of isosceles triangle ABC?

Answer:- 

1.Sol:- (4) 

Angle DCA =  
Angle DAC = 90 – 52.5 = 37.5
Supplementary angle = 90 – 37.5 = 52.5

L.C.M of 15, 18 and 24 is 360.
Required number = (360n + 7)
N = 27
Required number = 9720 + 7 = 9727
Required sum = 25

For divisible by 88 it is also divisible by 8 and 11
For divisibility of 8, y should be 8
And for divisibility of 11, x = 3
(2x + y) = (6 + 8) = 14

ABC’s on hour work = 6
3 hr. work = 18
Fraction of work is completed = 18/30 = 3/5
3/5th part of tank will be emptied by D in 15 hr.
D can emptied the tank alone = (15 x 5)/ 3 = 25 hr.

LCM of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 is 420
Required number is (420n + 1)
Put n = 8
Number be (3360 + 1) = 3361
Sum of digit =  3 + 3 + 6 +  1 = 13

7. Sol:- (3)

Sum of numbers = xn
When 75% numbers are increased by 4 the sum is also increased by = 0.75n  4 = 3n
When rest 25% numbers are decreased by 8 hence the sum is also decreased by 0.25n 8  = 2n
Resultant change in total sum = 3x – 2n = n
(xn + n ) = 43n
.x + 1 = 43
. x   = 42
