Let the numbers be x and y respectively. / माना संख्याएं क्रमशः x और y हैं |
According to the question/ प्रश्नानुसार,
2x + 3y = 36 ...(I)
3x + 2y = 39 ...(II)
On solving equations (I) and (II), we get/ समीकरण (I) और (II) को हल करने पर, हम प्राप्त करते हैं |
x = 9 and y = 6

Let speed of the boat is x km/hr. and speed of the stream be y km/hr.
