[{(4/5) X + 600} + (1/7) {(4/5) X + 600}] = X
X = 8000

a + a + d + a + 2d + a + 3d + a + 4d = 720
5a + 10d = 720 … (I)
a + 4d = a + 40 … (II)
4d = 40
d = 10
B's share/ B का हिस्सा = 10 + 124 = Rs. / रु. 134

4. Sol. (B)
The given number is an even number, so it is divisible by 2.
दी गई संख्या एक सम संख्या है, इसलिए यह 2 से विभाज्य है।
To check the divisibility of the number by 3, sum of the digits must be divisible by 3.
संख्या की विभाज्यता को 3 से जांचने के लिए, अंकों का योग 3 से विभाज्य होना चाहिए।
Now/ अब, 9 + 8 + 7 + x + 5 + 4 = 33 + x
So, x must be 3 from thegiven options.

5. Sol. (C)
Originally/ मूलतः, Area/ क्षेत्रफल = 25 × 25 = 625 sq. units/ वर्ग इकाई
Finally/ अंतिम रूप से, area/ क्षेत्रफल = 27 × 28 = 756 sq. units/ वर्ग इकाई
Percentage increase/ प्रतिशत वृद्धि = {(756 – 625) / 625} × 100 = 20.96%

C.P. of the book/ पुस्तक का क्रय मूल्य = 25.65 × (100/95) = Rs. 27
Required profit/ अभीष्ट लाभ % = {(31.05 – 27) / 27} × 100 = 15%

C.I. / चक्रवृद्धि ब्याज = 50000 {1 + (12/400)} 2 – 50000 = Rs. / रु. 53045 – Rs. / रु. 50000
= Rs. / रु. 3045

8. Sol. (C)
Let number be 10x + y. / माना संख्या 10x + y है
First case/ प्रथम स्थिति में:
10x + y = 6(x + y) + 3
10x + y = 6x + 6y + 3
4x – 5y = 3 ...(I)
Second case/ दूसरी स्थिति में:
10y + x = 4(x + y) + 9
10y + x = 4x + 4y + 9
6y - 3x = 9
2y – x = 3 ...(II)
On solving above two equations, we get/ ऊपर दी गयी दोनों समीकरणों को हल करने पर, हम प्राप्त करते हैं
x = 7, y = 5
Required difference/ अभीष्ट अन्तर = 7 – 5 = 2

Interest on Rs 77440 in 1 years/77440 रु. पर 1 वर्ष में ब्याज
= 85184 – 77440 = 7744
Rate/ दर = (7744 × 100)/ (77440 × 1) = 10% p.a. / वार्षिक
Let the sum be Rs x, then/ माना धनराशि x रु. है, तो
x × {1 + (10/100)}2 = 77440
x = 77440 × (10/11) × (10/11) = Rs. / रु. 64000


10. Sol. (D)

According to the question/ प्रश्नानुसार,
[(x + 400)/ 50] = [(x + 200)/ 30]
3x + 1200 = 5x + 1000
5x – 3x = 1200 – 1000
2x = 200
