R = [{(1620 – 1350) × 100}/ {(1350 × 8 – 1620 × 5)}] = 10%
P = (270 × 100)/ (10 × 3) = Rs. / रू. 900

Let number of ladies who did not report for the work be x. / माना महिलाओं की संख्या जो काम पर नहीं आ सकीं, x है ।
(76 – x) × 44 = 76 × 33
44x = 76 × 44 – 76 × 33
x = (76 × 11)/ 44
x = 19

3. Sol. (D)
Let fourth proportional be x. / माना चौथा समानुपातिक x है ।
7: 11 :: 14: x
7 × x = 11 × 14
x = 22

4. Sol. (B)
B alone can do the work in/ B अकेला कार्य को कर सकता है = 1/ {(1/12) – (1/20)}
= 1/ {(5 – 3)/ 60} = 1/ (2/60)
= 30 days/ दिन
B's one day work/ B का एक दिन का कार्य = 1/30
B's half day work/ B का आधे दिन का कार्य = 1/60
According to question/ प्रश्नानुसार,
Time taken by A and B/ A और B द्वारा लिया गया समय = 1/ {(1/20) + (1/60)}
= 1/ {(3 + 1)/ 60} = 1/ (1/15)
= 15 days/ दिन
