Using method of alligation/मिश्रण की विधि से,

First part/पहला भाग = (0.8/ 2) × 10000 = Rs. 4000

Second part/दूसरा भाग = (10000 – 4000) = Rs. 6000

= (1/3) days/दिन

3. Sol. (C) 

Let the speed of motor boat be 36 km. /hr. and speed of current 5x km. /hr. 

माना एक मोटर नाव की चाल 36 किमी. /घंटा और धारा की चाल 5x किमी./घंटा है ।

Distance/दूरी = 5 hours 10 minute/5 घंटे 10 मिनट × (36x + 5x)

= [(41x × 31)/ 6] km./किमी.

Rate of upstream/ऊर्ध्वप्रवाह की दर = 36x – 5x = 31 x

Time taken/लिया गया समय = [{41x × (31/6)}/ (31x)] = 41/6 hours/घंटे
= 6 hours 50 minutes/6 घंटे 50 मिनट

4. Sol. (C) 

Let the mean of 50 observations/माना 50 प्रेक्षणों का माध्य = x
then/तो, 50 × x = (50 – 1) × x + 45

x = 45

5. Sol. (C) 

Total percentage of marks/अंकों का कुल प्रतिशत 

= [(189 + 156 + 72)/ (210 + 180 + 110)] × 100 = (417/500) × 100 = 83.4%

6. Sol. (C)
P = 122 × (100/5)² × {100/ (5 + 300)} 

= Rs.16000

7. Sol. (B) 

P = [(1500 × 100)/ (10 × 3)] = 5000

C.I. = 5000 [{1 + (10/100)}³ – 1] 

= 5000 [(11/10)³ – 1] 

= 5000 × (331/1000) = Rs.1655

8. Sol. (A) 

Marked price of the article/वस्तु का अंकित मूल्य = Rs./रु.22800

Cost price of the article/वस्तु का क्रय मूल्य = [{22800 – 22800 × (15/100)} × (80/100)] 

= Rs. / रु. 15504

Actual cost price/वास्तविक क्रय मूल्य = 15504 + 1064 = Rs.16568 

Profit/लाभ % = [{(20710 – 16568)/ 16568} × 100] = 25%

9. Sol. (D) 

Side of a square/एक वर्ग की भुजा = {2 (12 + 10)}/ 4 = 11

Required/अभीष्ट % = [{(121 – 120)/ 120} × 100] = 0.83%

10. Sol. (C) 

Ratio/अनुपात = 10 × 5: 7 × 6: 1 × 8

= 25: 21: 4

Sum of ratios/आनुपातिक योग = 25 + 21 + 4 = 50

6 women's share/6 महिलाओं का हिस्सा = (21/50) × 7500 = Rs. 3150

1 women's share/1 महिला का हिस्सा = 3150/6 = Rs.525
