  • You will have to dedicate sufficient time to all the weak sections and less time to strong sections.
  • The frequency of practice for tough questions must be increased day by day.
Here are some points to guide you about how to crack bank exam

To Strengthen Weak Areas:
  • First of all, do prepare the list of topics you need to focus on.
  • Based on your knowledge, make an order and preference of those topics to allocate the time.
  • Take these topics as a challenge, until you score well, don’t stop.
To Improve Accuracy And Speed:

Clear the basic concepts.

Start working with easy question which leads to confidence and make you motivated when you get good marks.

Learn more and more short tricks:

After learning the basics, try to solve the questions in a short way. Learning short tricks initially takes much time but once are familiar with it helps you solve the questions within fraction of seconds. But Short tricks can be learnt only through a lot of practice.

Skip the difficult questions at initial stage:

At the initial stage of preparation avoid spending time on the questions which are difficult to solve.

Distribute the total time for each section:

These days every candidate has a mobile phone, keep the timer on while solving the question.
Note down the time taken by you in solving various kinds of questions. According make the preference list to followed in the exam.

Become your own competitor:

Whenever you solve a set of questions and if it requires 30 minutes, try to solve them in 20 minutes. Initially you will not be able to manage but you know ‘practice makes a man perfect’

Prepare for SBI PO Prelims and Mains simultaneously:
  • Generally, it is seen that candidates have a belief that first we should focus on prelims and thereafter on Mains which is not at all a good thought.
  • In today’s phenomenon, there is no huge gap (max approx. 30 days) between the dates of Prelims and mains exams, which is not sufficient at all to complete the preparation of mains exam from 0 level.
  • This time should be utilized only by practicing a number of mock tests.
  • A candidate who deeply observes the equation of time gap and required studies, he/she works simultaneously for all the phases.
  • In this series if we talk about the serious and regular attention, Current affairs updates come into light. In the Main Examination, General Awareness section helps you score higher and makes the selection certain.
  • The news based on current affairs must be updated on daily basis.
A well-managed study plan is important:
  • The most important question for the best preparation for Bank PO exams is ‘How to dedicate sufficient time to each subject’.
  • Make the time table according to the topics/subjects which are weak or strong.
  • Weak subject/topic must be allotted more time.
  • Don’t forget to allot at least 1hour to the General Awareness as it boosts your score in the exam.
Practice Subject wise mock test:
  • Sometimes, by practicing the whole test, candidates are unable to assess the taken time in attempting any subject individually. If you start taking subject wise test, you will become the master of time management.
  • Through this you will be able to aware of silly mistakes that you have made previously and in the best way you will be able to judge your strength and weakness.
  • Switch on the timer and start practicing the complete set with same number of question and within the same time as provided in the real exam.
For Example:

If you want to practice English: (30 questions mixed in 20 minutes)

  • Make a proper list of topics/subjects that you should attempt first.
  • Try not to waste much time on the questions which look tough on
  • the first sight.
  • Topics like puzzle, sitting arrangement, DI, Rearrangement, Reading comprehension etc., should not be touched initially, it kills your time if you have not practiced a lot.

Finally, we would like to say that everything is possible if once you are determined to achieve it.

Initially it looks tough but not impossible, keep it in mind that all the exams are cracked by human beings like you and me.

Never Give Up. Keep yourself focused on the goal and you will definitely achieve it.
