Q. 10. A sum of Rs. 4800 is divided among 8 men, 9 women and 12 boys. If share of one man, one woman and one boy are in the ratio 6: 4: 3, find the share of each boy .
4800 रू. की एक धनराशि को 8 पुरूषों, 9 महिलाओं और 12 लड़कों में बांटी जाती है। यदि एक पुरूष, एक महिला और एक लड़के के हिस्से में अनुपात 6: 4: 3 है, प्रत्येक लड़के का हिस्सा ज्ञात कीजिए।

1. Sol. (D)
r% = 12% ÷ 2 = 6%
Sum/योग = 432 × (100/6) × (100/6) = 120000
2. Sol. (A)
According to question /प्रश्नानुसार,
x + y = (300 + 500)/ 10 = 80 … (I)
x – y = (500 + 300)/ 40 = 20 … (II)
From (I) and (II)/ (I) और (II) से,
x = 50 m/s/मी/से
= 50 × (18/5) = 180 kmph/किमी./घंटा
3. Sol. (D)
According to the question/प्रश्नानुसार
A : B = 7 : 9
C = A + 12 ....(i)
B = C + 12 ...(ii)
From (i) and (ii), we get/(i) और (ii) से, हम प्राप्त करते हैं
B = A + 12 + 12
B = A + 24
2 = 24
1 = 12
7 = 84
C's present age/C की वर्तमान आयु = 84 + 12 = 96 years/वर्ष
4. Sol. (B)
Let distance/माना दूरी = d
According to question /प्रश्नानुसार,
{(d/5) + (d/1)} = 12
(6d/5) = 12
d = 10 km/किमी.
5. Sol. (A)
We know that, in a regular polygon sum of interior and exterior angles is 360o
हम जानते हैं कि, एक समबहुभुज में आन्तरिक और वाह्य कोण का योग 360o होता है |
5 = 360o
1 = 72o
Number of sides in regular polygon/समबहुभुज में भुजाओं की संख्या = 360o/72o = 5
6. Sol. (A)
Let width of path = x m
माना रास्ते की चौड़ाई = x मीटर है।
100 × 60 – (100 – 2x) (60 – 2x) = 1500
– 4x2 + 320 x – 1500 = 0
x2 – 80x + 375 = 0
x = 5, 75
x = 5
7. Sol. (D)
(p/q) = {(x + 3)/ (x – 3)}
(p2/q2) = {(x + 3)2/ (x – 3)2}
= {(x2 + 9 + 6x)/ (x2 + 9 – 6x)}
Using componendo and dividendo rule/योगान्तारानुपात नियम से,
{(p2+ q2)/ (p2 – q2)} = {(x2 + 9 + 6x) + (x2 + 9 – 6x)}/ {(x2 + 9 + 6x) – (x2 + 9 – 6x)}
= {2 (x2 + 9)}/ 12x
= {(x2 + 9)/ 6x}
8. Sol. (C)
Let C.P./माना क्रय मूल्य = 100
Then S.P. = 100 – 12 = 88
M.P. = 88 × (100/80) = 110
Required % up/अभीष्ट % वृद्धि = 10%
9. Sol. (B)
Let the larger number be x and smaller number be y. Then
माना बड़ी संख्या x और छोटी संख्या y है तो
3x = 4y + 3 ------- (1)
and/और 7y = 5x+1 ------- (2)
From (1) and (2)/ (2) और (2) से
x = 25 and/और y = 18
Required difference / अभीष्ट अन्तर = 25 – 18 = 7
10. Sol. (A)
Value of money received by men, women and boys / पुरूषों, महिलाओं और लड़कों द्वारा
प्राप्त धनराशि = (8 × 6) + (9 × 4) + (12 × 3) = 48 + 3 + 6 + 36 = 120
Share of one boy in Rs.120 = Rs. 3
120 रू. में एक लड़के का हिस्सा 3 रू. है।
Share of one boy in Rs. 4800/ 4800 रू. में एक लड़के का हिस्सा है = (3/120) × 4800 = 120
