We know that/हम जानते हैं कि,

Sum of the three angles in a triangle/एक त्रिभुज में तीन कोणों का योग = 180o

2. Sol. (A)

Let cost of a pencil and an eraser be Rs. x and Rs. y respectively.

माना एक पेंसिल और एक इरेज़र का क्रय मूल्य क्रमशः x रु. और y रु. है |

According to the question/प्रश्नानुसार,

5x + 7y = 335 … (I)

4x + 3y = 190 … (II)

On solving (I) and (II), we get/(I) और (II) को हल करने पर, हम प्राप्त करते हैं

x = 25 and/और y = 30

3. Sol. (A)

40 × 60 = x × 30

x = 80

4. Sol. (C)

{x + (1/x)} = 11

{x² + (1/x²)} = x² + (1/x2) + 2

121 = x² + (1/x²) + 2

x² + (1/x²) = 121 – 2 = 119

5. Sol. (B)

5 M × 6 = 10 W × 5

3M = 5W

Now/अब, 5W + 3M = 5W + 5W = 10W

Number of days/दिनों की संख्या = 5

6. Sol. (D)

Distance/दूरी = 6 × 8 = 48 km/किमी.

According to the question/प्रश्नानुसार,

{48/ (s – 4)} = (3/2) × {48/ (s + 4)}

2s + 8 = 3s – 12

s = 20

7. Sol. (D)

Equivalent discount/ समतुल्य बट्टा = 10 + 30 – {(30 × 10)/ 100} = 40 – 3 = 37%

8. Sol: (C)

Put/रखिए, x – 3 = 0

or/या x = 3

3⁵  – 9 × 3² + 12 × 3 − 14

343 – 9 × 9 + 36 – 14 = 184

9. Sol: (A)

Adding both the equations, we get/दोनों समीकरणों को जोड़ने पर, हम प्राप्त करते हैं

a³+ (3/a) + 3a + (1/a³) = 4 (p³ + q³) + 4 (p³ – q³)

{a + (1/a)}³ = 4 × 2p3

{a + (1/a)}³ = 8p3

{a + (1/a)} = 2p

Similarly, we would get by subtraction/इसी प्रकार से हम घटाने से प्राप्त करेंगें

{a – (1/a)} = 2q

4 (p² – q²) = {a + (1/a)}2 + {a + (1/a)}2

4 (p² – q²) = 4

10. Sol. (C)

Let B fills the tank in x hours/माना B टंकी को x घंटे में भरती है |

Then A fills it in (x – 5) hours/तो A इसे (x – 5) घंटे में भरती है |

According to the question/प्रश्नानुसार,

(1/x) + {1/ (x – 5)} = 9/100

{(2x – 5)/ (x² – 5x)} = 9/100

200x – 500 = 9x²– 45x

9x²– 245x + 500 = 0

9x² – 225x – 20x + 500 = 0
