18x + 6480 = 9360

18x = 9360 – 6480

18x = 2880

Let the cost price of the article be Rs. x./ माना वस्तु का क्रय मूल्य x रु. है ।

SP/ विक्रय मूल्य = x ×

According to question/ प्रश्नानुसार,

Let thickness of pipe/ माना पाइप की मोटाई = x cm/ सेमी

748 =

17 = – x² + 18x

x² – 18x + 17 = 0

(x – 18) (x – 1) = 0

4. Sol. (C)

– 3 + 0 + a = 0

a = 3

1 – 2 + b = 0

b = 1

(2a –b) = 2 × 3 – 1 = 5

The line parallel to X-axis is a horizontal line. This means the slope of the line is 0.

X- अक्ष के समानान्तर रेखा एक क्षैतिज रेखा है । इसका अर्थ है कि रेखा कि प्रवणता 0 है ।

Part of the tank filled in 1 hour/1 घंटे में भरा गया भाग = (1/p)

Part of the tank emptied in 1 hour/1 घंटे में खाली किया गया भाग = (1/q)

Part of the tank filled in 1 hour when both are opened/ जब दोनों खुले हुए हों तो 1 घंटे में भरा गया भाग

= (1/p) – (1/q)

= (q – p)/pq

Tank will be filled in [pq / (q – p)] hours. / टंकी [pq / (q – p)] घंटे में भर जायेगी |
