1.Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya on 7 February 2022 launched the Intensified "Mission Indradhanush 4.0" in New Delhi to protect children and pregnant women from severe diseases. It is a special drive to ensure full immunization coverage in the country.

2. Prof Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Maharashtra has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi for a period of five years. She is the first female Vice-Chancellor of JNU.

4.Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar died in Mumbai on 6 February 2022 at the age of 92. Called Swar Kokila by her legion of fans. Mangeshkar was born in a Maharashtrian Brahmin family in 1929, the eldest daughter of Deenanath Mangeshkar, a Marathi and Konkani musician, and his wife Shevanti in Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
वयोवृद्ध गायिका लता मंगेशकर का 92 वर्ष की आयु में 6 फरवरी, 2022 को मुंबई में निधन हो गया। स्वर कोकिला को उनके प्रशंसकों ने बुलाया। मंगेशकर का जन्म 1929 में एक मराठी और कोंकणी संगीतकार दीनानाथ मंगेशकर की सबसे बड़ी बेटी और उनकी पत्नी शेवंती की मध्य प्रदेश के इंदौर में एक महाराष्ट्रीयन ब्राह्मण परिवार में हुआ था।
