IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2022
For Prelims
Candidates are required to qualify in all three sections individually by securing the minimum cut-off marks decided by IBPS. A sufficient number of candidates, as per the IBPS requirements, will be shortlisted for the Mains examination. The exam pattern for the IBPS Prelims exam is given below:
For Mains
Candidates who successfully clear the sectional as well as overall cut-off will be eligible for the Mains exam.
The Mains paper will be divided into four sections, namely General English, Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude. One-forth mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. The IBPS Clerk Mains exam pattern is tabulated below:
IBPS Clerk Final Selection
Candidates will have to clear both the IBPS Prelims and Mains exams to get into the final merit list. However, the Prelims exam is only qualifying in nature, i.e., the Prelims score will not be considered in the final merit list of the candidates.
Whereas the Mains exam is both qualifying and scoring in nature i.e., the final selection of the candidates will depend on the score of the Mains exam. The final list will be prepared after scaling the marks of the candidates out of 100
