SSC Selection Post Phase-9 Exam Analysis 2022

The Staff Service Selection conducts the SSC Selection Post exam to recruit eligible candidates for three levels of posts: Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduate Level. SSC conducted the Selection Post Phase-9 2022 exam from 2nd February to 10th February 2022. 

The exam is conducted under two stages: Written Test and Document Verification. Only the candidates who qualify for the written examination are called for document verification. 

To qualify for the written examination, candidates must score a minimum cut-off percentage as declared by the board. In this article, we'll discuss the detailed exam analysis of SSC Selection Post Phase-9 2022. 

Highlights of SSC Phase-9 Selection Post Exam

• The paper was conducted online in various cities except Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab exam centers. 

• All the questions were compulsory to attempt. 

• The paper was both in English and Hindi Language except for the English section. Candidates were required to answer the questions in the language they opted for before the exam.

• 0.50 marks were deducted for every wrong answer. 

• The commission will have the discretion to fix different minimum qualifying standards for the recruitment of SSC Selection Posts Phase-9 while taking into consideration the category-wise vacancies and category-wise number of candidates appearing in the exam.

Key Points to Remember after SSC Phase-9 Selection Post 2022 Exam

• There is no interview process for the SSC Junior Level Posts as per the government guidelines. Therefore, to get selected, the candidates are required to appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and obtain marks above the minimum qualifying marks. 

SSC will decide the minimum qualifying marks of the exam through the normalization method. To qualify for the exam, one must take the SSC Selection Post mock tests and practice regularly. 

• The commission will conduct skill tests, including Data Entry Test, Typing Test, Computer Proficiency Test, etc., and these tests will be qualifying in nature.

• Depending on the number of vacancies of any particular post, candidates will be shortlisted for the further stage of scrutiny, based on the score/merit of candidates in the Computer Based Exam in the following ratio:

1. In the ratio of 1:20, for up to 5 vacancies for a particular category of post.

2. In the ratio of 1:10, for more than 5 vacancies for a particular category of post, subject to a minimum of 100. 

• The final result declaration, along with force allocation, will be made by the commission on the basis of the candidate's performance in the Computer Based Examination. The final scores of the candidates will be disclosed on the website of the concerned Regional or Sub-Regional Offices at the time of declaration of the final result for any particular post.
