The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the notification for the Sub Inspector (SI) post. There are around 9,534 vacancies for the UP Police SI.
To qualify for the written test, the candidates must score the minimum marks, which is possible with the right preparation done as per the syllabus of UP SI 2022. In this article, we'll discuss the topic-wise UP Police SI syllabus and exam pattern.
UP SI Exam Pattern
Let's have a glance at the UP SI paper pattern. The UP Police SI CBT will be conducted on different dates and shifts. Applicants who get a minimum of 35 marks in each subject and overall 50% marks will qualify for the subsequent round.
The UP Police SI exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi, apart from General Hindi.
The online test for UP Police SI will consist of Multiple Choice Questions or MCQs.
The duration of the online test is 120 Minutes or 2 hours.
The UP SI paper is of 400 marks comprising 160 questions in total.
Each question carries 2.5 marks.
There is no negative marking in the exam.
The UP Police SI exam comprises four subjects, where each section has 40 questions and 100 marks.
The four subjects are General Hindi; Basic Law/Constitution/General Knowledge; Numerical and Mental Ability; Mental Aptitude/IQ/Reasoning Ability.
The qualifying marks for each subject will be 35.
