SSC MTS is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) in various central government departments, ministries, and offices. The candidates interested in this recruitment should begin their SSC MTS preparation as the exam will be conducted in June 2022 (tentatively) online.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2022
The SSC MTS exam is categorized into two parts.
SSC MTS Paper 1 (Objective-Type test)
SSC MTS Paper 2 (Descriptive test)
SSC MTS Paper 1 Exam Pattern
SSC MTS Paper 1 is qualifying in nature conducted in the online mode. You can find the Paper 1 exam pattern below:
Questions are objective in nature.
Paper 1 has four sections, namely General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, General English, and Quantitative Aptitude.
The exam would be bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi, except the general English section.
Paper 1 consists of 100 questions of 1 mark each and negative marking for each wrong attempt is 0.25 marks.
The total duration of SSC MTS exam is 90 minutes for the general candidates. For PwD candidates (cerebral palsy and visually handicapped), the duration is 120 minutes.
SSC MTS Paper 2 Exam Pattern
The candidates who qualify the SSC MTS Paper 1 will be eligible to appear for Paper 2. SSC MTS Paper 2 is descriptive in nature and tests the elementary language skills of the candidates.
The candidates who qualify in SSC MTS Paper 2 will be called for the Document Verification Process.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
Only the aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below should apply for the SSC MTS exam.
Nationality:
Citizen of India, Subject of Nepal, or Subject of Bhutan
Tibetan refugees, who came to India before 1st January 1962 to become permanent residents of the country can apply.
Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India
Age criteria:
The minimum and maximum age requirement for the applicants is 18 and 25 years, respectively.
Educational Qualification:
The candidates should have passed their matriculation or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
