1. Sol. (C)

Cost Price for A/ A के लिए क्रय मूल्य = Rs. / रु. [23.94 × (100/95) × (100/ 105)]

= Rs. / रु. 24

2. Sol. (A)

Req. Ratio of their investment/ उनके निवेशों में अनुपात

= 5000 × 12: 5000 × 6: (5000 × 6 + 10000 × 6)

= 2: 1: 3

The share of ' Z ' in the profit / ‘Z’ का लाभ में हिस्सा = (3/6) × 18000

= Rs. / रु. 9000

3. Sol. (B)

Let the number be x. / माना संख्या x है |

According to the question/ प्रश्नानुसार,

(5/6) x = (3/4) x + 28

(5/6) x – (3/4) x = 28

[(10x – 9x = )/ 12] = 28

x = 12 × 28 = 336

Now/ अब, 336 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 2 × 2 × 7

Required number to be multiplied/ गुणा की जाने वाली अभीष्ट संख्या = 3 × 7 = 21

4. Sol. (D)

20% – 15 % = 51

100% = [(51/5) × 100] = Rs. / रु. 1020

5. Sol. (A)

Total distance covered/ तय की गयी कुल दूरी = 15 × 200 × 60 = 180000 m. = 180 km. / किमी.

Let C.P. of the pen be Rs. x. / माना पेन का क्रय मूल्य रु.x है ।

According to the question/ प्रश्नानुसार,

x – 144 = x/7

x = 168

Required profit/ अभीष्ट लाभ % = [(189 – 168)/ 168] × 100 = 12.5%

(x + 4 + 1) – (6 + 4) = 0

5 + x – 10 = 0

x = 5

Shadow of one feet high pole/ एक फीट ऊँचे खम्भे की ऊँचाई = 20/18

Shadow of 27 feet high pole/27 फीट ऊँचे खम्भे की ऊँचाई = (20/18) × 27 = 30 feet/ फीट

63% – 45% = 342

18% = 342

100% = (342/18) × 100 = 1900
