General guidelines:
The maximum age limit specified above is applicable to General category candidates.
The relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on cumulative basis with only
one of the remaining categories for which age relaxation is permitted in Point No. 3 (a) . OBC
candidates in the ‘Creamy Layer’ will be treated as “General Category”.
The Candidates seeking age relaxation as per Govt. Guidelines will be required to submit copies of
necessary certificate(s) at any subsequent stage of the selection process, as required by the bank. In
case the candidate fails to submit the same, his candidature will be treated as cancelled.
Any dispute arising out of this advertisement for engagement of apprentices will be subject to the
jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai.
The above number of vacancies are tentative and may vary / increase / decrease according to
actual requirement of the Bank, subject to availability of suitable candidates. The candidates
belonging to reserved category for which no reservation has been announced are free to apply for
vacancies announced for unreserved categories. However, they must fulfil all the eligibility criteria
of unreserved category. The provisionally selected candidates will be imparted training at
branch/office-wise where he / she are selected, depending on the requirement of the Bank.

- Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (As on 31.03.2023):-
candidate must be either
- i) A Citizen of India or
- ii) A subject of Nepal or
- iii) A subject of Bhutan or
- iv) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- v) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Central Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2023 - Selection Process:-
The selection process for the Central Bank of India Apprentice Program is a multi-stage process. The following are the stages involved in the selection process:
- Online Written Exam
- Personal Interview
- Document Verification
- Medical Test
Online Test: Candidates who satisfy the qualifying requirements will be contacted to take an online test. The online exam will take place in;
- General English, Computer Literacy, and Quantitative Ability
- Retail Goods with Basic Liability
- Simple Retail Asset Items
- Fundamental Investment Products
- Fundamental Insurance Products
Interview: Those applicants who pass the online test will be contacted for a face-to-face meeting. The objective of the personal interview is to evaluate the candidate's communication abilities, industry knowledge, and other pertinent qualities.
Verification of Documents: Following the in-person interview, the candidate's paperwork will be examined. The documents that need to be submitted include educational credentials, identity evidence, age proof, and other essential documents.
Medical Examination: A medical exam is the last step in the selecting process. To be qualified for the Central Bank of India Apprentice Program, a candidate must be in good health.
Subject to medical fitness, candidates are ultimately chosen for the Central Bank of India Apprentice Program based on their performance in the online test and in-person interview. Training for the chosen individuals will be provided for a full year. The candidates will receive a stipend during the training duration in accordance with Central Bank of India regulations.

If the Applicant has not created his/her profile then he/she will be prompted to first create his/her profile and then Login & Apply. All applicants’ post successfully applying for apprenticeship will receive email communication from BFSI SSC containing bank details for payment of examination fee.
All applicants will have to provide their personal information, category, name of scribe for PwD candidates and they also need to give their preference of 1/2/3 districts for their engagement, if selected.
