SSC CGL Final Result 2021 Out | Check Cut Off Marks

The result of Combined Graduate Level (Tier-III) Examination, 2021 was declared by the Commission on 20.12.2022 for shortlisting candidates to appear in the Skill Test/Document Verification of the Examination.

 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2021 - Declaration of the Final Result 

 As per the Notice of the Examination, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) are of qualifying nature. The CPT consists of three modules. The Module-I is Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) and the Module-II and III are Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). The cut-offs fixed for Module-I (DEST) and Module-II & III (CPT) are as under: -

(i)( Category-wise cut-off in Module-I (i.e. DEST) of CPT:

 As per the provisions of the Notice of the Examination, merit has been prepared on the basis of scores of the candidates in the following Tiers/ Papers of the Examination: -

(i) Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer (AAOs):-

Tier-I + Tier-II (Paper-I + Paper-II+ Paper-IV) + Tier-III

(ii) Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):-

Tier-I + Tier-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) + Tier-III

(iii) Statistical Investigator Gr.II (SI):-

Tier-I + Tier-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) + Tier-III

(iv) All posts other than AAOs, JSO & SI:-

Tier-I + Tier-II (Paper-I + Paper-II) + Tier-III.

 For the following posts, qualifying in CPT is mandatory:

(i) Assistant Section Officer in CSS (B03)

(ii) Assistant Section Officer in MEA (B06)

(iii) Assistant Section Officer in AFHQ (M/o Defence) (B07)

(iv) Assistant in Ministry of Mines (B20)

(v) Assistant in IMD (M/o Earth Science) (B22)

(vi) Assistant in NCLAT (B23)

(vii) Inspector (Central Excise) in CBIC (B25)

(viii) Inspector (Preventive officer) in CBIC (B26)

(ix) Inspector (Examiner) in CBIC (B27)

For the posts of Tax Assistant in CBDT and CBIC (Post code D52 & D53 respectively) and UDC in Central Bureau of Narcotics, qualifying in DEST is mandatory. However, eligible OH candidates were exempted from appearing in DEST for the post of Tax Assistant in CBDT (Post code D52).

Resolution of Tie Cases: As per provisions under Notice of the Examination, in the event of tie in scores of candidates in Tier-I+Tier-II+Tier-III Examinations, merit has been decided by applying following criteria, one after another in the given order, till the tie is resolved:

(i) Total marks of relevant papers in Tier-II Examination.

(ii) Total marks in Tier-III Examination.

(iii) Date of birth, with older candidate placed higher.

(iv) Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear.

 As per the provisions of the Notice of Examination, allocation of posts to eligible candidates has been made on the basis of merit-cum-preference of posts given by the candidates at the time of Document Verification. A total of 7541 candidates have been provisionally recommended for appointment. Category-wise breakup of the finally selected candidates is as follows:

Post-wise and category-wise break-up of the candidates selected for different posts against the vacancies reported by the User Departments and detailed cut-off details of the last selected candidates against each post is mentioned below. In cases where candidates are selected against horizontal categories (i.e. 3-ESM, 4-OH, 5-HH 7-VH and 8-PwD-Others) marks and Date of Birth of such last selected candidates are reflected against their respective horizontal category, not against their vertical category (i.e. 0-EWS, 1- SC, 2-ST, 6-OBC and 9-UR). Moreover, vacancies of horizontal categories are also counted in their respective vertical categories as well. The rows corresponding to nil reported vacancies have not been shown in the tables below:

 One post of Statistical Investigator Grade-II is kept vacant in compliance with the Order dated 22.02.2023 of the Hon’ble CAT, Calcutta Bench in O.A. No. 224/2023.

 This result is subject to the final Orders of the Hon’ble CAT, Jabalpur Bench in O.A. No. 173/2023.

If a candidate is finally selected and does not receive any correspondence from the Commission or the User Department concerned within a period of one year after declaration of result, he/she must bring this to the notice of the concerned User Department immediately.
