How To Apply
SSC Selection Post Apply Online 2023
Step 1: Open the official website of SSC i.e., www.ssc.nic.in
Step 2: Then click on the "Register Now" button to register yourself in case if you are applying for first time by providing all the details such as contact number, email id, name etc.
Step 3: The generated Registration Number and password would be sent to your registered mobile and mail id.
Step 4: Now Log in using this Registration Number and Password by visiting the homepage & fill all the remaining details in the application form and then click on submit button.
Step 5: Finally, upload all the mentioned documents in the prescribed format & proceed for the payment of application fees.
Step 6: Take some printouts of the completely filled application form along with fee receipt for future use

Indicative Syllabus for Matriculation level
General Intelligence: This section would include questions of non-verbal kind. It will also include questions on space visualization, similarities and differences, problem solving, decision making, visual memory, analysis, judgment, discriminating observation, figure classification, relationship concepts, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will be designed to test the candidate’s ability to deal with abstract symbols and ideas and their arithmetical computation, relationship, and other analytical functions.
General Awareness: Questions will be designed to check the general awareness of environment and its application to the society. Questions will also be asked to check the knowledge about current events and of such matters/issues of everyday observation & experience in their scientific aspects. This exam would include questions concerning to India and neighbouring countries pertaining to History, Economic scene, Culture, Sports, Geography, General Polity including Indian Constitution, Scientific Research etc. These questions will not require any special study of a discipline.
Quantitative Aptitude: This paper shall include questions relating to Number Systems, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Computation of Whole Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Averages, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Interest, Profit and Loss, Mensuration, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, Time and Distance, etc.
English Language: The Applicant’s understanding of Basics of English Language, its vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, antonyms, synonyms and its correct usage, etc. Candidates writing ability will also be tested.
