GDS 2023 Outcome Selection Procedure:-

The selection procedure for the Post GDS Result 2023 is described in the notification pdf.

An automated merit list will be used to choose the applicants for engagement.

The Secondary School Examination of the Tenth Standard of Approved Boards will be used to determine the merit list. The marks obtained will be used to convert grades and points to marks (as explained in subparagraphs iii to ix below) and will be aggregated to a percentage with an accuracy of four decimals. It is necessary to pass every subject in accordance with the corresponding, recognised board standards.

Just their total marks will be calculated, taking into consideration the Secondary School Examination of the 10th standard mark sheet's marks, grades, and points earned in all mandatory and optional/elective subjects (other than extra subjects, if any). This will guarantee that candidates with higher grades are chosen.

If an applicant just has subject grades, their marks will be calculated using the multiplication factor of 9.5 in the following ways for each subject (both mandatory and optional, but not additional).
