1. Petrified (Adj.) : अत्‍यधिक भयभीत Extremely scared, frightened, or with fear; so frightened that one is unable to move

Synonyms: terrified, frightened, scared, panic-stricken, horrified

Antonyms: Brave, fearless, unafraid,courageous

Example Sentence :She was petrified with fear when she saw the snake in her garden.

2. Glum (Adjective) : उदास, निराश: Looking or feeling dejected, sad, or gloomy

Synonyms: Morose, melancholy, dismal, bleak

Antonyms: Cheerful, joyful, happy, elated, exuberant

Example Sentence : After hearing the bad news, he had a glum expression on his
face.

3. Indict (Verb) :आरोप लगाना : To formally accuse someone of a crime

Synonyms: Charge, accuse, incriminate

Antonyms: Acquit, exonerate, clear, vindicate

Example Sentence : The grand jury decided to indict the suspect on charges of fraud
and embezzlement. 

4. Taming (Verb) : वश में करना : to control something dangerous or powerful (training or domesticating an animal or person)

Synonyms: controlling, training, domestication, control

Antonyms: Wildness, uncontrolling

Example Sentence :The taming of wild animals requires patience, persistence, and skill.

5. Pillory (Verb): निंदा करना: to severely criticize someone, especially in a public way

Synonyms: blame, criticize, scold, ridicule, denounce

Antonyms: endorse, approve, commend, praise

Example Sentence :The press pilloried the judge for his decision.

6. Startle (Verb): चौंकाना: cause to feel sudden shock or alarm

Synonyms: shock, stun, astonish, astound, stupefy

Antonyms: assure, soothe, comfort

Example Sentence : As I walked through the quiet forest, a sudden rustling in the bushes
startled me, and my heart began to race with fear.

7. Promulgate (Verb) : घोषणा करना : promote or make widely known

Synonyms: announce, declare, advertise, publicize, promote

Antonyms: conceal, hide, suppress

Example Sentence :The actor makes use of social media to promulgate the release of his film
projects.

8. Envision (Verb): कल्पना करना : imagine as a future possibility

Synonyms: visualize, imagine, envisage

Antonyms: disregard, ignore, look away

Example Sentence : Envision a future where you can live and work anywhere in the world.

9. Predicament (Noun) : कठिन परिस्थिति : a difficult, unpleasant, or embarrassing situation

Synonyms: difficult situation, awkward situation, problematic situation, dilemma, pickle

Example Sentence : If you had told the truth in the first place, we wouldn’t be in this predicament.

10. Paucity (Noun): अभाव : scarcity or a lack of something

Synonyms: shortage, dearth, insufficiency, inadequacy

Antonyms: abundance, surplus, plenty

Example Sentence : The paucity of resources made it difficult to complete the project on
time
