1. Solicit (Verb):   To ask for or seek earnestly or eagerly, to make a request or plea

Synonyms: Request, ask for, seek, appeal, entreat

Antonyms: Refuse, decline, reject

Example Sentence:  She decided to solicit donations for the charity event by reaching out to
potential sponsors and asking for their support.

2. Garner (Verb) : संचित करना : To gather or collect, to acquire or obtain

Synonyms: Collect, gather, accumulate, amass

Antonyms: Disperse, scatter, distribute

Example Sentence:  The team worked hard to garner support for their project, reaching out to various stakeholders and gathering endorsements from influential figures in the industry.

3. Impinge (Verb): प्रभावित करना : to have an effect on something, often causing problems by limiting it in some way

Synonyms: Affect, influence

Antonyms: Avoid, bypass

Example Sentence: The noise from the construction site impinged on their peaceful afternoon, making it difficult to concentrate or relax.

4. Fraught (Adjective): भरपूर : filled with or likely to result in (something undesirable); full of tension or anxiety

Synonyms: Filled, charged, tense, anxious

Antonyms: Empty, vacant, relaxed, calm

Example Sentence:The atmosphere in the room was fraught with tension as the two leaders
engaged in a heated argument.

5. Taboo (Adjective) : प्रतिषेधित : A social or cultural prohibition or restriction, something that is forbidden or prohibited by custom or society.

Synonyms: Prohibition, restriction, ban, forbidden, prohibited, banned

Antonyms: Allowed, permissible, acceptable, permitted

Example Sentence: 1. It is a taboo in their culture to speak the name of the deceased. 2. Wearing jeans to the formal event was considered a taboo.

6. Frivolous (Adjective): फ़ालतू , लापरवाह : Not having any serious purpose or value, lacking in seriousness or importance, trivial or silly.

Synonyms: Trivial, petty, insignificant, unimportant, shallow

Antonyms: Serious, significant, important, substantial

Example Sentence: We need to focus on important issues rather than wasting
time on frivolous matters.

7. Trove (Noun) : ख़जाना, ढेर : A collection or store of valuable or delightful things, a
treasure trove.

Synonyms: Treasure, collection, haul, repository

Antonyms: Scarcity, dearth, lack, deficiency

Example Sentence: The library is a trove of knowledge and resources for students.

8. Scuffle (Verb) : झगड़ा करना, लड़ना : To engage in a short, confused fight or struggle.

Synonyms: Fight, wrestle, grapple, brawl

Antonyms: Cooperate, reconcile, collaborate

Example Sentence:  The siblings scuffled over the last piece of cake.

9. Against the clock (Idiom) : Racing against time or working with a sense of urgency to meet a deadline or complete a task.

Synonyms: Racing against time, Pressed for time, Time-bound, Urgent

Antonym: Leisurely, Relaxed, Unhurried

Example Sentence:  We were working against the clock to finish the project before the
deadline.

10. Run around in circles (Idiom)  : To engage in futile or unproductive activity without making progress or reaching a solution.

Synonyms: Chase one's tail, Beat around the bush, Spin one's wheels

Antonym: Make progress, Find a solution, Move forward

Example Sentence:  Despite spending hours discussing the issue, they were just running around in circles without reaching any conclusion.
