1-OMINOUSLY(ADVERB): to describe an action or manner that suggests something bad, threatening, or foreboding is about to happen.

Synonym:
Menacingly, threateningly, forebodingly, portentously

Antonym: Reassuringly, optimistically, cheerfully, hopefully

Example Sentence: The CEO's announcement about potential layoffs hung ominously in the air, causing anxiety among the employees..

2-IMPERILLED(ADJECTIVE): being in danger, at risk, or facing a threat to safety or well-being.

Synonyms:
Endangered, jeopardized, at risk, threatened, precarious
