Each of them likes different author’s novels i.e.- Gita Sahgal, Fahad Shah, Bhavna Chauhan, Indra Sinha, Jhumpa Lahiri, Chetan Bhagat, David Davidar and Abhijit Bhaduri, again not necessarily in the same order.
There are two girls between 12 and 18 and they both likes to read the novels of David Davidar and Fahad Shah, respectively. The girl who likes to read the novel of Jhumpa Lahiri is in front of 13. The girl who likes to read the novel of Gita Sahgal is the neighbour of 14 and 17. The girl who likes to read the novel of Indra Sinha is in front of the girl who likes to read the novel of Fahad Shah. 17 is second to the right of 18. The girl who likes to read the novel of Abhijit Bhaduri is second to the left of the girl who likes to read the novel of Chetan Bhagat. 16 is not the neighbour of 18.

U lives on an odd-numbered floor above floor numbered four. Only one person lives between U and the one who has Sony TV. The number of people living above U is as same as the number of people living between U and W. Only three people live between W and the one who has Videocon TV. X lives on one of the odd-numbered floors above the one that has Videocon TV. Only two people live between X and the one who has Panasonic TV. The one who has Micromax TV lives immediately above T. T has neither Videocon TV nor Panasonic TV. V does not have Sony TV. Only three people live between T and Z.
