Eight boys, Ram, Shyam, Santosh, Arjun, Krishna, Nakul, Anuj and Praveen are students of the fifth class of Indian Vidya School. Each of them was born in different months like Chaitra, Vaishakha, Jyeshta, Ashadha, Shravan, Bhadrapad, Ashwin and Kartik, according to the Hindi month but this is not necessarily the same in that order. The Hindi month starts with the Chaitra month and ends in the Phalguna month like Chaitra, Vaishakha, Jyeshta, Ashadha, Shravan, Bhadrapad, Ashwin, Kartik, Agahan, Paush, Magh, Phalguna.
