The selection procedure will involve either a shortlisting and interview or an online written test and interview, contingent on the volume of applications received.

The online written test will be conducted in two parts:

1. The PNB SO exam will be held in online mode.
2. The tests except for the Test of the English language will be available bilingually, i.e. in English and Hindi.
3. There is a penalty of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question.
4. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
5. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.

Interview: Based on their Part II score, candidates who match the eligibility requirements and qualify in Part I will be shortlisted for the interview.
